LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company has unveiled eight new mobile phones which will go on sale soon
Hoping to be one the world’s top three mobile phone businesses by the end of 2006, LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company has unveiled eight new mobile phones which will go on sale soon. They are the LG P7200, M6100, G832, G262, S5200, S5000, F3000 and C3380. The F3000 has a sports-car design, and comes with a compact entertainment centre to catch the attention of consumers. The P7200 is for everyday users who do not want to carry a camera everywhere.
The S5000 is a compact phone featuring digital camera, Bluetooth, and speaker phone.
Mun-Hwa Park, president and CEO of the company, said that before new mobile phones were developed and rolled out to market, the company conducted surveys of customers’ demand so that it would design new phones and technology that would satisfy users.
Customers in each region have different demands - Asian customers like new technology functions and customers in Europe prefer simple functions.
“We develop unique mobile products depending on customers’ demand to create customer satisfaction. We also want to become leader in the Asian market,” said Park.
Bae Jae Hoon, executive vice president of the company, said the firm by the end of this year expects to sell 60 million mobile phone units to the worldwide market. Last year it sold 45 million.
